Description:
Prerequisite: Students age 11-15 must complete the online portion (cost $24.95) prior to attending this day. Certificate becomes valid at age 12. Red Wing Riverview Rider volunteers will be offering a hands-on field day/riding performance course as the culminating requirement for the DNR online safety class (MN DNR/Education & Safety/Recreational Vehicle Safety/ Snowmobile Safety Training). At the completion of the online course, print out the "voucher" and bring it with you to the Field Day, along with a pencil, snowmobile helmet, and outdoor clothing. The day will consist of a review of materials, guest speakers, a quiz and a driving test. After successful completion of this course, students must go online and register with the state at an additional cost. Co-sponsored by Red Wing Riverview Riders and Red Wing Community Education.
