Lessons are held Monday evenings at Prairie Island Arena for youth ages 4 and older. (Bergwall Arena will also be used during the season). The Ice Skating Institute progressive "weSkate" program is taught. Lessons consist of 1/2 hour of lessons and 1/2 hour of practice time each evening. Boys and girls are welcome. Beginning skaters must wear a helmet. Choose from the figure skating curriculum or our hockey skating class. This hockey skating class is for entry level skaters. The class is great for Intro and Mite level players. There is a discount available for families with multiple skaters. There is $10 off the 2nd skater and $20 off the 3rd and all additional family members. If registering online, you must register each skater individually and select the appropriate price. We will offer lessons for beginners through Free Style 1 during the 6:00-7:30pm times. You will be notified of your 1/2 hour group lesson time before the first night of lessons. Please register at least one week prior to the class date.
