Description:
This program will provide a foundation and introduction to baseball. The focus will be on the fundamentals of throwing, catching, batting, and fielding skills through playing a hybrid form of the game. Each field will have three teams of 5-6 players: an infield team, an outfield team, and a team up to bat. Two outs per inning, a five-run limit for each inning, and age-appropriate homerun fences are just a few tweaks that make 3-team baseball fast-moving and exciting! Please park in the parking lot off Pioneer Road, not the church parking lot. All participants will receive a T-shirt. Parent coaches are needed.

Wondering whether to register for T-Ball or Coach Pitch? Experience with hitting and catching a ball matters more than age when considering whether your young athlete is ready for Coach Pitch. Have they played T-Ball before? Can they hit a thrown ball over 25% of the time? Can they catch a ball over 25% of the time? Do they know what a strike/3 strikes you're out means? If the answer is yes to all of these, your young athlete may be ready for their appearance in the Coach Pitch Program!
