Learn to paint landscapes with this very colorful and popular medium. Not only is pastel an immediate medium, it also incorporates both drawing and painting. Beginning with a watercolor underpainting on a textured pastel paper surface will set the stage for subsequent applications of pastel pigment. Pastels demand all of your artistic resources that will help you create a very honest, meaningful and beautiful painting. A materials list will be sent out two weeks prior to the first class. A minimum number of students is required to hold class, so please register by March 31. Class will be held at Red Wing Arts Association’s Depot Gallery, 418 Levee St., Red Wing.
